Casa Guillermo Tovar de Teresa

Period home dating from 1910. Guillermo Tovar de Teresa was a respected intellectual in early 20th century Mexico and was a noted literary figure who chronicled life in Mexico City. The home and its furnishings, including an eclectic art collection, were purchased by the Carlos Slim Foundation. The home was restored and opened for public tours. It is operated by the Museo Soumaya (whose main museum is in Polanco). Allow about 1-2 hours for a visit.
